Secure & Stylish Showers: Introducing Schluter Kerdi Line Linear Drain
The Schluter-KERDI-LINE is a low-profile linear shower drain specifically designed for bonded waterproofing assemblies. This versatile solution offers several key features:
Enhanced Design: The Kerdi-Line enables a floor sloped in a single plane towards the drain, allowing the use of large-format tiles. This enhances aesthetic continuity and reduces visual clutter, creating a modern, elegant look.
Versatile Installation: Kerdi-Line drains can be installed directly against walls or at intermediate locations, providing design and functional flexibility. They are ideal for curbless, open-concept showers, wet rooms, and other waterproofing needs.
Durable Construction: Crafted from formed stainless steel, the channel body includes a Kerdi collar for a secure waterproof connection, ensuring long-lasting protection against leaks and moisture damage.
Efficient Solution: Upgrading your shower with the Kerdi-Line offers a reliable and seamless drainage system for optimal water flow.
Effortless Installation: Designed for easy installation with its integrated waterproofing collar and simple connection to standard drain outlets, the Kerdi-Line is suitable for both new construction and renovations.
The Kerdi-Line is available in a range of channel lengths from 20" to 72" (50 cm to 180 cm), in 4" (10 cm) increments, to accommodate various shower sizes and layouts. The bonding flange extends approximately 1" (2.5 cm) beyond the channel on all sides, providing a secure connection to the bonded waterproofing assembly.
The Kerdi-Line grate assembly offers a seamless and customizable solution, with standard and style options available. The standard grate assembly frames can be adjusted to accommodate tile or stone coverings from 1/8" to 1" (3 mm to 25 mm), while the Kerdi-Line-Style frames have a minimal reveal and offer a choice of three grate designs: Floral (E), Curve (F), or Pure (G).
For showers with a Kerdi-Line drain at the entrance, it is recommended to choose the Solid (A) or Tile (D) grate options, ensuring the drainage openings span the maximum width of the entrance to limit potential overflow. Secondary drainage, such as the Kerdi-Drain-F, may be required in the drying area.
Schluter-Systems, founded in 1966 by Werner Schlüter, has a long-standing reputation as a pioneer in the tile assembly industry. The company continues to develop practical and effective solutions for tile installation challenges, maintaining a commitment to innovation, quality, and service.
